Film Coating Technologies Training
Join us for Film Coating Technologies Training, a comprehensive two-day, hands-on program designed to provide an in-depth understanding of film coating processes used in pharmaceutical and supplement manufacturing. This course focuses on batch, continuous, and Wurster coating technologies applied to tablets, hard-shell capsules, and softgel capsules.
Participants will be guided through the entire coating process, from solution preparation and equipment setup to calibration, operation, and cleaning. Multiple coating runs will be performed using tablets of varying sizes to demonstrate real-world production scenarios.
Each step of the process will be clearly explained, including common industry terminology, critical process parameters, and troubleshooting considerations. Hands-on breakout sessions are a core component of the training, allowing participants to work directly with industry-relevant equipment and gain practical, real-world experience.
To ensure a highly interactive and personalized learning environment, attendance is limited to 24 participants. Through guided exercises, demonstrations, and group discussions, attendees will develop the ability to evaluate coated tablets, understand the manufacturing processes used to produce them, and identify common coating challenges.
By the end of the course, participants will have a clear, practical understanding of film coating technologies, the associated equipment, and the processing pathways commonly used throughout the pharmaceutical and supplement industries.
