Fette Compacting builds tablet presses and capsule filling equipment for the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. Founded in 1908 and headquartered in Schwarzenbek, near Hamburg, Germany, its presses run from laboratory development through high-output production, and its tooling and change parts are among the most widely used in solid dose manufacturing. In North America the company operates as Fette Compacting America.
In The Techceuticals Lab
Fette Tooling, Cams, and Feeder Systems
Fette supplies cams, feeder systems, tooling, and change parts for Techceuticals workshops, and
sends a specialist to present them. Rather than a machine demonstration, participants get a
table laid out with the components themselves and a walkthrough of each one: how cam tracks
govern punch movement, how feeder configuration affects die filling, how punch head geometry and
press speed determine dwell time, and how tooling condition shows up in the tablet. Handling the parts is a faster route to understanding a tablet press than
watching one run, because the geometry that drives the process is visible in your hand.
